Vic Sotto is a Filipino celebrity, television show host, comic, and film producer who has a net worth of $10 million dollars. His grandpa Vicente Sotto has Chinese ancestry. He’s the brother of Marcelino Antonio “Maru” Sotto, Jr., Vicente “Tito” Sotto, and Valmar “Val” Sotto. Sotto studied at Colegio de San Juan de Letran. Sotto began his profession as a folk singer and guitarist. During these years, Sotto was likewise the lead vocalist of the disco funk band VST & Company. Sotto produced such songs as “Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko”, “Rock, Baby, Rock”, and “Kung Sakali”. Sotto won three consecutive titles for Philippine Box Office King (2004, 2005, and 2006). Vic is the three times Philippine Box Office King victor for sequential years starting from 2004 to 2006. His fame and wealth has grown with each success. Vic’s mom was Macelino Ojeda Sotto, and father was Dr. Herminia Castelo. Vic attended the Colegio De San Juan de Letran. Initially, Vic was a folk singer and a guitarist, and made the career change much later. He with his brothers Tito and Val appeared in a show “OK Lang” that was produced by IBC TV. It was a gag show.

After Vic joined the disco funk group “VST & Company” where he was the lead vocalist. His memorable songs include “Rock, Rock”, “Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko”, and “Kung Sakali”. During his stay at IBC Network, he met the comic Joey de Leon. Leon encouraged the trio to join him and TVJ — Tito, Vic and Joey was created. Soon the trio started to appear in a number of shows including Iskul Bukol, eat Bulaga, TVJ’s Jesters and Rock and Roll 2000. Vic, Richie D Horsie and Joey De Leon were accused of raping a 16-year old performer Pepsi Paloma. No legal measures were nevertheless taken against them. The three needed to apologize on national television for his or her actions. Vic has always been associated with various television networks including ABS CBN, GMA NETWORK, and TV5.
