Professional Canadian reporter and anchorman Keith Morrison was born on July 2, 1947 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Shortly after, he cease from Saskatoon StarPhoenix and began his TV career. In 1973 he started to work at the breakfast television news show Canada AM, aired on CTV. His responsibilities are not only making reports, he served also as an anchorman, newsreader and producer. He did his job perfectly, and even received his first prize for his report in the Yom Kippur War. In the beginning he was only a replacement anchorman, but after a brief time, he became a Chief Political Correspondent for a popular current affairs newsmagazine The Journal and a cohost of television newsmagazine show Midday. In 1986 he altered his work again. This time he determined to attempt himself in USA television and moved to Los Angeles where he joined KNBC TV and worked there on the place of a news anchor. Possibly his most pictorial report was from Tiananmen Square demonstrations in 1989, when according to official sources expired about 200 – 300 individuals, but unofficial sources say how many casualties is up to 1000. After his exciting encounter in USA he came back to his birthplace. He applied for his previous occupation on CTV and continued his profession as a co-anchor of Canada AM. He also returned to CTV National News as a replacement anchor. In 1995 Keith Morrison went to USA again and returned to NBC as a reporter. He did extremely excellent job there, doing the programs from throughout the world. He covered wars, tsunamis, peace processes etc. He constantly said that films and TV shows were his love and he loved to be a reporter and reveal latest news to folks.
