Produced in New York, NY, Jakob Dylan is the son of Bob Dylan and Sara Dylan. In the late 80s, he formed a group called, The Wallflowers, and began performing around Los Angeles. The group secured a record deal with Virgin Records and released their very first album in the early 90s. Their advent met with little success and they were subsequently released from their contract. They signed with Interscope Records a few years later, and in 1996, released “Bringing Down the Horse”. The album spawned two hit songs, “One Headlight” and “6th Ave. Heartache”, and established The Wallflowers as one of the late 90s’ best alternative groups. Two hit went on to win two Grammy Awards.
